About the Event
The Reno Alpine Club is shaking things up for our May event. On Tuesday, May 13 at 6:30pm at Craft Wine and Beer, the legend himself, Roger Putnam, will be hosting a Sierra Nevada Trivia Night! Roger is a geologist, climber, and author, and quite literally wrote the definitive book(s) on High Sierra climbing. (Volume 3 out now, get it if you haven't already!) Study up on your Sierras history and terrain - climbing, geology, peaks and features, culture, etc. all are fair game - and get your teams together. We will give away 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes, which you and your teammates can fight over if you win. Show up a little early for the social hour beforehand!
